Welcome to SouthERN BOAT FISHING CLUB (SBFC)
SBFC was founded in 1984, with the thought of creating a small family-oriented club that fish within the sport-fishing association throughout Victoria and Australia.
The club is affiliated with Australian National Sport-fishing Association (ANSA) – which holds several conventions during the year throughout Victoria.
Our purpose is to be a family orientated club that fosters friendly competition and ethical fishing practices.
The Southern Boat Fishing club has enjoyed great success over many years winning state titles in both seniors and junior competitions within the ANSA alliance.
Our club also organises several club events during the year outside of the ANSA convention syllabus, which range from fishing competitions and social events.
Our members pride themselves in fishing for the family and the future. All members are encouraged to be aware of the environment and sustainability with the goal to leave our fish stocks for future generations to come.
Our club meets every 3rd Wednesday of the month, see events for meeting details.
